Though it measures nearly a foot long, the TOPS Knives TAC-TOPS karambit is nimble and agile. After all, the design was inspired by members of the Max Venom Product Group: a company that specializes in edged impact weapons Read More
Hey karambit lovers just saw this one today https://www.bladehq.com/item--Defcon-Blade-Works-JK-Karambit--93416 don't know much about Defcon but it's in this price range and not a walking felony like this one ,actually tempted myself but the blade shape doesn't work for me but give it a look.
AstrodinosaurTOPS make really good stuff, and I trust their designs but... This looks more cool than tacticool.
Their CUT model IMO is far more practical.
tsf45I own one and I disagree. Yes its long, but this is a really good knife too. I think it depends on the loadout you are looking for. It's a great size when you are geared up with gloves and a plate carrier. For daily carry I use something else.
ChrisWhoLikesCoolStuffGlad it works for you. Just wanted to give my opinion for those considering the investment. The kerambit is first and foremost a weapon. It's concealability, fast deployment and devastation in close quarters are what make it a perfect backup weapon. In that scenario size can be a hinderance. If i carry a blade that large it would be a Bowie which is far more versatile tool. I have a kerambit that has a 6 inch blade, but I never carry it or actually use it. Not saying you are anyone else is wrong, I think people should decide what they want a blade for and then look at the advantages and disadvantages are for that particular style blade style.
I bought this knife on the last drop it is amazing. Only hang up is it is not threaded for the belt loop to work on both sides. And my belt live to orchids way off and I can't get ahold of anybody to contact to get a new one
Redvette33Completely agreed. I'm very happy with this knife, the only down side is the belt loop not being reversible. It is a beast too....not ideal for everyday carry but, good for a bug-out/tactical loadout. The ring is a nice and large for wearing with gloves.
ChrisWhoLikesCoolStuffMall ninja isn't measure of quality so much as ridiculousness. Most mall ninja things are crappy quality, but it's more about something you think makes you look like a cool/dangerous, but really makes you look like your mom just dropped you off around the corner from the hot topic so your friends don't see you getting out of the minivan.
Like a knife shaped like a batarang.
