MnpikeyThis is a complete non-issue. It 100% intentional actually, and allows winkeyless users to have a fully authentic A-profile bottom row. The difference is a couple mm, and this has all been done before on the AEG Olympia.
intelli78The set is not the normal/standard profile for modern keyboards. I would have purchased several sets but as of now none. How much more would it have been to include the 7 keys in the correct R4 profile?
MnpikeyFor anyone wondering, what Mnpikey is talking about can be seen here:

Notice how the arrows and bottom numpad keys are a little taller than Ctrl and Alt. This set is like that when used on a winkey keyboard. It's completely intentional, so that winkeyless users can have a fully authentic A-profile bottom row experience. Because the alphas are separated from arrows and numpad on almost all keyboards (excluding maybe winkey Lightsavers and MX Minis, of which there are hardly any), this has basically NO consequences. You'll never notice it during normal usage since you'll never be directly sliding your fingers from the alphas to the arrows or numpad.
This is an issue that some purists and hardcore collectors will argue about, but average buyers it means basically nothing.
MnpikeyI'm afraid that not everyone can be pleased. If intelli and I were to include all the keys necessary to do every common layout perfectly (perfect legends and profiles), the set would be almost twice the price.
When choosing the keys to be included one of our aims was to make the set as _functional_ as possible. This set functions perfectly with modern keyboards, there is just a slight profile difference. Another one of our aims was to make this set as faithful to the original as possible. R5 is a huge part of this, which is why we included it.
This isn't the first time this profile difference has been seen. Cherry keyboards rebranded to AEG Olympia are exactly like this. I own one myself, and the profile difference is really not a problem.
intelli78Came from GH, and this is an unpopular opinion there, but I actually like that. Not sure why but I just do. Something about the arrow cluster sitting up a little taller, I know I've had a board like that at some point and I enjoy it. My hand sort of naturally gravitates to the arrow cluster when I'm not actively typing anyway.
