These VE monks have huge hype and it's deserved. But I'm not in love with the earbuds. They're cheap and that's all they got going for them. They don't sound amazingly well, but for what you're paying for you get amazing sound. Sound If you rate them purely on sound these would not be on the top of your list. I would equate these to the Apple earpods in sound. Comfort I can't wear these for very long. They hurt my ears after like an hour of use. The muffs they come with aren't very thick so it really doesn't make a difference. Build quality They aren't tanks, and they shouldn't be. They do have the L shaped connector though so that's good. They feel light and hitting them against the floor will probably break them. But they're really cheap so who cares. Final thought. I think these are better as a gift than for constant use. If you're gonna use something constantly I would recommend something a little more expensive. If you break your earbuds a lot, I would recommend these too since you can buy like 10 of these for the price of other earbuds. I'm not a fan of open ear earphones so I think I'm biased. For the price you can't go wrong, but I say spend a little more on some Panasonic ones on Amazon. You know which ones I'm talking about.
