From the makers of the original Swiss Army Knife comes the Victorinox Hunter Pro. Designed for heavy-duty slicing, piercing, and chopping tasks, this hefty folder has a thick handle made from polyamide for a secure grip in wet or hot conditions Read More
Clearly Spyderco-inspired. Wish it had a lanyard hole.
Both Victorinox and Wenger are squirrely about disclosing steel used when asked. I've tried. So, it's just "stainless steel."
My Blurs too have never failed me. I use them for cutting shit and they are pretty fantastic at it. I will prefer my Blurs any day over this overpriced junk.
zsoumyaSpeaking about Blurs I'd really like to see a cool Blur drop in recent future.

I'd much rather have an s30v blur for the money. Twice the knife at the same price point. I can't speak as to the rest of their knives, but I was given a victorinox swiss army knife at Christmas one year, and I just don't get it I guess. Seemed almost toylike to me. I re-gifted it to my mother who keeps it in her purse.
TasselhoffKnives and stupidity don't mix. Kershaw Blur, or for that matter, any liner locked folder being used for self defence is stupidity. If you're stupid with your knives you will get cut. Period.
A Great deal for me! The low shipping made this a sure thing. Love Victorinox, yes you are paying a bit for brand, but is that not so for the likes of Spyderco, KBar and the rest. Their steel has never let me down! And that Orange colour, I just love; it's not over the top. A welcome edition to my Victorinox collection, along with the Rangerwood 55.
Found a review on this knife, also says it is 440C stainless steel as guvnor mentioned. Looks like a nice knife but the pricing seems a little steep considering the materials used. There are so many quality options out in this price range as many of you know (I would consider most massdrop users looking at knives to be pretty with it in terms of the market). Anyways here is the review, I'm sure it's a nice knife and you probably won't be disappointed with it if you purchase: http://rockymountainbushcraft.blogspot.com/2013/10/review-victorinoxs-new-hunter-pro-knife.html
Some sources indicate the steel is 440C @ 56HRC, but seems doubtful.
More accurate sources seem to say the steel is 1.4419 (x38CrMo14).

Well, you're clearly paying for the brand here.
Stainless steel and plastic handles ain't exactly what dreams are made of. Plus for the prize they usually drop the S30V blue Blur for.
