This is the latest, third version of the popular kit. Created as a solution to many common problems found in other guided knife sharpeners on the market, the system is designed to give you the perfect angle—time and time again—without having to go through a series of rigorous adjustments every time. Included with the kit is a base, five sharpening elements (up to 1200 grit), mounting hardware, a leather strop, a locking metal stopper ring, and a Plano GunGuard Case to keep everything together. Once you’ve gone through all the grits up to 1200, use the leather strop to put a nice finishing touch on the edge.
Note: At checkout, choose between the cutting board base and the 2-pound stone base version (+ $50).
