4 out of 5 stars because of the function key combinations was not working for me. I reached out to drop but said the best they can do is refund me $5 (which is ridiculous). I tried reaching out to Vortex and gotten no response. Pretty frustrating but overall not a bad keyboard.
Purchased this to replace my DASkeyboard (Blues are much too loud through my Yeti). Absolutely fantastic. Only downside is not knowing the function keys well enough, but that's on me since I've never had a 60% before this one.
If the lights were just a tad brighter, and maybe one or two more options on how the lights operate, this would be 5 stars, but this is by far the most impressive keyboard ive owned.
Quiet switch options are nice to have, but there is more to a quiet keyboard than the switch. This model's spacebar/etc steel stabilizers slap against the pcb and make the keyboard like 3x louder than my other keyboard with cherry quiet keys
This is my 3rd keyboard and I’m really pleased to have gone with this choice.
I like that the RGB is very customizable without installing any software and the weight is really nice, feels very sturdy on the desk. The caps that come with it aren‘t all flush, some sit slightly higher than others. The angle on the case is nice too, I like not having to worry about attaching any feet or magnetic ones that come off it the keyboard moves around on a desk mat. Shortcuts for other functions are easy to learn too.
I’ve thought about getting a wood case for it, but I realized that I like the aluminum case more, and would rather not have to consider the possibility of the case warping.
The construction adndbuild quality is superb. The inclusion of interchangable rubberized feet was nice as the majority of 60% keyboards do not have the option to be raised up. The biggest problem is that there is no mannual included with the keyboard, so the consumer would have to google how to turn on the RGB lights. There is also a lack of customizable RGB lighting. The overall feel of the compact keyboard is great, but the small form factor keyboard is quite heavy for a 60% keyboard.
