New addition to the stable.
I made the decision to take advantage of the $600. price on the HiFiMan Arya Stealth, here pictured with the Meze 109 Pro. I think 2025 is going to be a really uneventful year so far as new purchases. I've also upgraded my Fiio BTR7 to the newly released BTR17 and I purchased the Earmen stack which consists of Amplifier, Linear PS, DAC & Streamer.

I never noticed any ground noise and I live in a 100 year old condo that doesn't have the cleanest electrical wiring. In fact, the awesomeness of the WA7 allows you to use the 3.5mm jack with IEMs. Unlike most powered headphone amps, the WA7 has a black background.
Yes, I mentioned that the WA7tp sounded slightly different from the Solid State Power Supply. I did not think it sounded better. I would have been somewhat unsatisfied with my purchase if I had kept it; however, the reason why I sold it was the large amount of desk space it took up. Let's just say I did not come close to recovering my costs on it. Surprise surprise... a custom power supply for a specific high-end amplifier has a very limited number of buyers.
I was hoping that they would include the Solid State Power Supply with the WA7tp + WA7 combo in this drop so I could get the WA7tp cheap on the secondary markets when people realized that they did not need it. That will not happen.
. The one I was referring to is the head-fi meet impressions by miceblue425. <

Unlikely either review was paid off. hahah
The WA7 comes with the unstoppable Voshkod Tubes which I would argue are the best tubes for the amp. The DAC is pretty fantastic. With the glass and the design, it looks stunning. Pictures do not do it justice.
My only silly complaint is that you need to buy a $2 power cable and $2 USB cable to use it. For $1000 and over 90 days of waiting for the amp (back in the day), there was nothing more frustrating than realizing I needed to make a trip to radio shack before I could get it going.
