I had been dying to find a good mechanical Ergo keyboard. So I bought this as soon as I saw it. My main problem, which I didn’t even think of when I made the purchase, was Home and End buttons. Apparently I use them way more than I thought. Working with a lot of data at one time, I need to be able to go back to the top left often (ctrl-home). I’m kinda sad I spent so much money. I had such high hopes.
Blueferret21Their own shop let me select the silent yellows and I went as far as payment. I didn't pay as the price is too high and the software needs to be fixed and some of the keys needs changing. It needs a Home / End.
Scroll down just more than half way, there's a selection table of switch choices:

They are saying posted with a week, which they couldn't if it was only a 'interest check' if people wanted the silent keys.
I think i'd love to try a keyboard like this. i see a lot of negative comments about it and there are some downsides like lack of keycaps you could use that matches this layout. But i've always been a fan of the Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard, and this looks like an extension of what that keyboard does without the raised middle and being mechanical. i'd be willing to try this board but at that price point i don't think i can bring myself to it.
Andy_WhoFor me, it was, indeed, an extension of MS Ergo keyboards, specifically a long line of the old PS2 Natural units.
The layout does look goofy as hell, but it works great. The linear columns don't take long to get used to and feel great once you do get them down.
Still, there are considerable downsides, including the steep cost.
Hasn't this Group Buy got another 3 Days left on it, yet I just got my Visa Card raped just now by DROP.
So there isn't anymore Group Buys being run here you get charged immediately for this purchase before the GB even ends?
This has been the third time DROP has done this to me, ignoring their own time line specifications. Is Trump working for you now? That could only be the explanation when ongoing lies and stealing money early in the contract becomes a normal activity for DROP.
You have to really be down in the sewer in taking money already before the Group Buy ends, hence why waste time buying anything from here in the first place?
You are no longer a Group Buy business and you don't follow your own deadlines that you list. New form of shady business is happening here and no one has bothered to call them out on it yet.
You imagine that without shouting the key words, you cannot be understood? What, do you work for Schiff and his merry band of the permanently outraged? Whew, got that non sequitur political reference in there. My work here is done.
Your cancellation behavior is exactly the kind of purchasing behavior this is meant to prevent. Without card authorization holds, someone could make a purchase on Drop, then cancel the charge via the credit company preventing them from collecting funds, or if it was a debit card, withdraw all funds from the bank. Or someone can be using a stolen credit card, then after Drop has charged at the end of the group buy, the card company informs Drop that the card was stolen so the purchase is void.
It is stated here that your card info is captured as soon as you hit check out https://helpdesk.drop.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019107134-When-is-payment-captured-from-my-account-
Please update us if you intend to sue in claims court. I want to see what lawyer actually takes this case.
Perhaps you should exercise the same kind of restraint and control before checking out on a product you then change your mind on. Many businesses now are no longer honoring returns or refunds. Surely it would be a better and more intelligent use of your energy than airing your outrage about a common business practice. You could even file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
In the Numpad section can you re-programme the four keys on top that currently represent "Escape, Tab, Left Arrow and FN keys" to Multimedia control, like what Ducky Keyboards all have now?
Desperately need Volume UP, Down plus Mute in that section instead.
I have an ergo keyboard without a dedicated "Insert" key. I'm a software engineer and I couldn't adjust. I think I made it 45 minutes with that keyboard. I will not make the same mistake again.
It is surprising that so many people are here to participate in the discussion.
Allow me to express my opinion that this keyboard is a great innovation!I like it very much!
So when I heard knight-plus was on massdrop, I came right over!
I think I may know some reasons why x-bows are so slow to deliver on the kickstars crowdfunding.
Mr. Wang, the founder of x-bows, is a finicky guy who likes to do one thing to the extreme, which leads to a much longer development and production cycle for the keyboard.
In addition, problems occurred in the OEM factory last year, which led to difficulties in the production of the keyboard. This made me very sad at that time, but it was also one of the difficulties that are very easy for a start-up to meet. I also met it once, so I can understand Mr. Wang.
There is a good news that their customer service told me: all the order materials for crowdfunding have been prepared, except for the final assembly. After confirming the latest delivery address with the crowdfunding user, the goods can be delivered successively.
