has anyone tested to see what the battery drain is like? I charged mine up when I first got it, and used it intermittently. About 8 days later I open the case to find it completely drained when it was still on four white lights the day before. Is this normal?

At launch, the battery management system was set to put the earpieces in a disconnected “sleep” mode, which would last about as long as you reported. After 48 hours of not opening the case lid, the buds would go into a “deep-sleep” mode which would extend the standby charge even longer. Firmware 2.7.0 cut the wait for “deep sleep” mode down to just two hours, and today’s update improves Bluetooth connection stability. grell audio is working hard to help!

Battery drain seems to be bad on my pair. I loose about 2 bars of battery base on the case LED every day. This seems to cause my right IEM to lose audio because of low battery. Did you do anything special to fix this or do I just have a bad pair?

claudeswaresI think you might have a bad pair because the battery draining for your pairs seems to be a bit too quick.

Mine drained to 1 bar of the indicator on the case in 5 days after full charged + unused. If I keep using it daily... I can use 5 days without charging tho (maybe about 3 hours of usage daily). I feel weird about leaving them in the case is draining more than using it on and off :D

jordylThat's disappointing. I don't use it every day, so there's nothing worse then taking it out after a few days and finding that either you have a few minutes left or it's completely drained. I have a cheap pair of TW earbuds that I can pull out after a few weeks and still have enough charge left to use. I'm not sure why some batteries can do this and some drain after a week. The rating on the batteries (# hrs per charge, # charges in the case) means nothing if it drains within 1-2 weeks, IMO.

my second charge lasted about 10 days, but I definitely did't use it enough to drain the battery all the way down, so that means that for this data point, battery drain exists, which is disappointing, since that is one of the fatal flaws of Sennheiser Momentum True Wirless Gen 1.
