So, spend $1 for dkc membership, get $1 off $500??
ajinfanteUmmm no. You can join DKC now for $49 and immediately you’ll get a coupon. The upfront investment is paid back in 2-3 months depending how often you purchase keycaps. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the promotions in April and you’ll get free DKC membership (while getting advantage of the coupons, giveaways etc).
ajinfanteThe $1 DKC membership gets you a random coupon every month for $20-100 off of a purchase of $100 or more. If your purchase is less than $100, then the discount is applied as a percentage (20% off of $90 purchase, for example). Irrespective of the 10th anniversary event, the normal $50 fee pays for itself quickly if you regularly buy keyboards/keycaps. This anniversary promotion gives you the club membership for $1 if you spend $500 during the month (and also allows you to take advantage of the April coupon while doing so). In other words, you get 10% back. Whether an individual is inclined to spend $500 in a month on keyboard gear is a very valid question, but I know speaking from experience that it's easier to do than I'd like to admit. 😳

HoffmanMysterWoah, wait, what? So the $20 or whatever dollar discount for the month becomes a percent discount if we aren't spending over $100? I may have to look at this again! One of the reasons I didn't join is because I will almost never buy a single keycap set for over $75. I do like your sets though and this may tempt me to buy some more. (looking at you MT2 profile!)
DakodasonYep! This was updated after some feedback a few months ago. :) It looks like some of the official announcements/discussions don't include the update, so take a look here for reference (scroll to FAQs, "What happens if my order is not at least $100?"). Thanks for the kind words, and keep your eyes peeled for more MT2 news in the next few days!
