I want to ‘save the planet’; helping me is easy, and starts with ‘reading this’.
Now that I have your attention: “Viagra” (only joking)… Hello, and, “thankyou”. Thankyou for your inquiry,.. your time,.. and (hopefully) your further contemplation…. This isn’t just some ‘environmental post’, and it will list a few things that I am going to do, in the short term, that we all want / need, so is probably worth reading even if you are not altruistically minded. So let me pitch three things, first and foremost. One I can deliver, one I will try to deliver, and one I am going to do anyway, and you might just ‘want to know about it’. Someone also suggested BenQ, which I also thought was a good idea. If I remember right, BenQ acquired Zowie too? I know Zowie mostly for their simple but very specifically targetted gaming mice. Good spread of products there, how the player interacts with the experience. A good display stand makes a big difference too, one of those "I didn't know I wanted it, but now I don't know how I could stand being without it now" kind of things.
Creative Labs and Massdrop seem to have a good relationship too. I've bought a lot of Creative's stuff over the years, mostly for their sound DSPs, to the point where Creative started asking if I would review things for them. I haven't loved everything by them and some things were SO close to what I had hoped for that I was that much more disappointed, but they really do try to pack a lot of value into everything they make and I'd love to see a Recon3D USB 2.0, which was a great balance between console and PC sound processing, with good integration of Xbox and Playstation's connection quirks.
