I'm interested in this too as I suspect one of my deliveries is now lost. Have you heard anything back from Drop CS?

lxix.corpJust that they can't do anything at all until the 29th (6 weeks after the item shipped). Looking online, the likelihood of the situation I that there's an unpaid fee at customs holding the parcel up. Apparently, I've read that others had similar issues because drop don't give your email as contact information and so you never received notification of needing to pay this fee until they send one final letter to the shipping address. They seem hopeless to be honest. I'll probably get to the 6 weeks without my parcel and then I'll get a refund and getting the item back can be their issue. Awfully disorganised company

CM24Ah, yep I've had something need customs paying (not from Drop) and it's really clunky here in the U.K. as they send you a paper letter! The crazy thing is that the letter just contains a payment ID you then put into a website. 😂 I don't think there's much Drop can do as it's down to how the shipping company manages things. Sadly in my case, DHL is showing the item as cleared customs and Evri are showing as having collected it; it's just not made it any further.

CM24Coincidentally, I've just had a text from Customs Clearance Ltd asking me to pay import tax on a Drop delivery! Worked a treat - do you have your mobile number lodged with Drop?

lxix.corpI don't. I managed to contact CCL and they said the situation I mentioned the problem possibly being seemed right. They were able to give me the already 4 days past the deadline request for the payment and I was able to pay from there. It's honestly been really sad that between two companies, DHL and Drop, neither of them could do what a 5 year old Reddit post and an annoyed customer could. They don't want to take a moment and think about what the problem could be, they just have their robotic complaints procedure that delays things. The email mentioned the possibility of the parcel being returned or destroyed because they can only hold it for 14 days and they wanted me to just wait until the 29th before they even begin to open a ticket with DHL because that's what's in their (useless) contract with them.

CM24Nightmare! Out of interest, did you check your email spam folder? My invoice didn't come through but when I checked my junk folder, there were two invoices and a payment request in there!
