YoYo Community

I just started a poll asking if anyone is interested in a YoYo Community.
In addition to that, I thought I would also start a thread, hoping a discussion might develop about wether or not this is feasible. Maybe there simply isn't any demand for yoyos on Massdrop.
If there are any throwers here on MD, post a picture of your current favorite return top!
I'll start: I've had my MarkMont Next by One Drop for roughly 5 years now and it's nickel coating has gotten a really nice patina over the years but it's still great fun to play with!
EDIT: Here's the link to the poll: https://www.massdrop.com/vote/Is-anyone-interested-in-a-YoYo-Community

I think, having it in "Hobby Shop." We had an RC Car community in that past that we merged. I think that (emphasis on "think") that something like this would be better fit in another community, to avoid bloat, etc.
I am interested in a YoYo Community. Cause...
Look at them yoyos, that's the way you do it. Play the guitar on the MTV. That ain't workin', that's the way you do it. Get your money for nothing and your chicks for free.

Yea , I'd prolly be in for for 8-12 yoyos a year , nothing over the 50.00 range for a heckuva nice yoyo . They'd be mostly for my son and his friend . Majicyoyo make pretty nice stuff for a dang good price , betcha MD can get them prices cut in 1/2 .
replay pro, upgraded with yoyo recreation ds bearing, wearing zipline string. think yo'n x massdrop would be a great idea. all the colorways, polls, discontinued models, ect.

Yes!
I would love a yoyo massdrop community. It would be cool to get popular stores involved with massdrop to make some dope drops.
The Smashing Yoyos Pip! Love this thing!

I would want a yoyo community
I have a bunch of new-in-box Yoyo's from early to mid 2000's. I bought them but never really developed the necessary yo-yoing skills, so many stayed in the box. Is there anyone interested to purchase a few, or trade them?

Thanks, I appreciate it.

I will post pics, I finally found them! I have made a separate thread:

I want this to happen so badly
I just picked up a YYF Horizon in navy. All in all, I'm very impressed this far. I'll update/review properly once I've played on it a bit longer, but so far so good. Sleep times are longer for me and it's a very stable throw.

I have six Tom Kuhn machines in maple, oak, and aluminum. All the yoyos I will ever need.

Ion't believe I have actually bought a new yo-yo in the past 5 years. I developed some nasty dermatitis on my hands and fingers that made it uncomfortable to run string around my fingers. I've got it treated better in the past year, and I've picked up my yo-yo's and spin-tops a bit more. I have many dozens of yo-yo's in the box, even after selling some of the more collectible out of need over the years.
Photos are from about 9-10 years ago, and there certainly has been some selling-gifting-acquiring of more since then.

This would be great. I don't have a picture to post, but my favorite yoyo is my Custom Reactor. I definitely wanted to show some support for this new community.

Wow, that is an old classic! I have a blue Reactor and a pair of AXL's (version 1 and version 2) in my big box of yo-yo's past. Still have a couple strips of replacement performance rings with the spare parts inventory.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed in the lack of other responders so far...
Me and this blue 3-1 No Jive by Tom Kuhn have spent nearly 2 decades together. As you can see, there's some wear, but there's been lots of ups and downs :)

It's well loved. I have a 3-in-1 natural finish, but I think it was a dud. Never could get assembled in a balanced fashion so it would not wobble. Love my other Tom Kuhns: SB-2, wooden RD-1, and Pocket Rocket.
