Geez there's some whiney petulant children here. From what I can see Drop is doing a pretty good job of updating everyone. As for manufacture times, there's nothing they can do. Did you all forget that we are still under a global pandemic and supply lines have been trashed for just about everyone? I won't have my Lasers until April, can't get a PS5 or gpu and my new 3d printer is delayed (along with non-existent customer service) but I am not going to complain because I am lucky to even be able to afford those things. GMK and Sennheiser are both German companies and their country just went into another total lockdown which means no one will be working at those factories. People are out their suffering, losing income, getting sick and sometimes dying yet here you are moaning about expensive pieces of plastic and specialty headphones. This is community of group buys, y'all should be more comfortable with waiting. @Kevin Keep doing your job well, it is appreciated.

o0Maikeru0oHonestly. At this point I'm suspicious of things that DO arrive on time. People aren't going to get everything on Christmas day this year people. Explain to little Timmy that there's a global pandemic and your present is coming late so people don't have to literally die.

o0Maikeru0oSennheiser's products are made in Romania and Ireland.... Also the issue was largely that DROP was not updating anyone on what was going on with the audiophile orders while keeping the other communities fully informed of what was going on. It was only after many complaints that we got on update on many of the audiophile products weeks after initial updates. People are pissed because they were left in the dark. Also supply lines are and have been fine for quite some time. Working in aviation privies me to the reality of shipping situations and for the most part things are fine. UPS, Fed-Ex, and DHL have all been operating at full capacity on our ramp like they do every year around this time. Logistics is no longer a valid excuse for these types of issues. Your PS5 and GPU are not results of Covid. They are the result of those companies not having enough manufacturing capability combined with large scale botting operations to suck up supply. Both those product categories suffer every time there is a new launch. They have under produced every time a launch has happened for literally decades. When the RTX 20 series launched supply was an issue. When the PS4 and Xbox One launched, supply was an issue. Ect. ect. ect. This is not a new issue and it's certainly not a result of Covid. Finally DROP is not a group buy site for most of their products anymore and haven't been for quite some time. Product is kept on site ready to ship, which means that DROP did a poor job preparing for the large influx of orders that they were guaranteed to get around the Holidays. Meaning that they have no one but themselves to blame for a large group of angry consumers that are left in the dark by the DROP teams.

SpydieHolesForDaysWhile gpus and new consoles have often been difficult to get it has never been this extreme. I can say that from experience buying PS2-4 at launch without issue. When I say supply lines, I am not taking about shipping companies like Ups and FedEx I mean manufacturing supply lines, like the labor to mine silicon, gold or any number of things and get those to factories to produce processors. Yes shipping has been decent for sometime. I did not realize that about the audiophile neglect. There are however comments in here complaining about not being able to properly theme a keyboard in time for the holidays

o0Maikeru0oI definitely agree that some people were just being dicks. The people in the audiophile community were justifiably pissed though. That's all I was really trying to say. 2 weeks between updates is absolutely unacceptable when you keep changing the date for shipping. Also remember this is the first time we have seen tech inundated with botting. Manufacturing is likely a little behind, but most companies have gotten back to full speed. The biggest issue in supply for these products has been the unrelenting bots. Literally tens if not hundreds of thousands of pieces have been sucked out of the market by bots to feed the scalpers. Apple just got murdered by the bots with their stupid headphones. I'm sure more niche industries may be feeling a little bit of supply line pain. But I think that has mostly been alleviated. It's pretty much just dick head scalpers screwing everything up. My area is out of toliet paper and all that again because of scalping BS. Either way I think everyone is pretty edgy right now. It's the holidays, in the middle of a pandemic, and people just dealt with some of the stressful voting that ever took place in America. So it's probably a little on stressed out customers, but a lot on DROPS poor handling of updates. Have a great day man! I wasn't trying to jump your case. We are all friends around here 😀

o0Maikeru0oIt's less about the delay and more about promising one thing and giving another. If they were just up front and honest with the shipping estimates rather than burying it in a thread of "updates", things would be much different.
