BobrazI know, it's a thin line between collecting and hoarding. After selling off some if my older watches and buying Oris Aquis and Grand Seiko I can see what that money is buying. That makes it much easier to avoid impulse buying. Also, been trading within my Facebook groups to try new pieces and offload anything I grew tired of.

WathingTimeIn the boatload of watches that I have owned all through the years, I have had two Oris, the older models with ETA movements... A black dial diver, and a blue dial diver. Great brand, with their own rich history and unmistakable style. Can't say I'm appreciative of the price of their new in-house movement. Everyone and their smelly aunt wants to do in-house now, and frankly I don't see the mystique around it, except maybe for $10k and up watches. Even Tudor, I'll take it any day with third party movement inside and $2.5k worth of price savings, I have no problem with that!
