I've never minded FedEx, but Drop is using SmartPost which is pretty horrible for HI residents. Waiting 4 weeks to get a pair of headphones makes it seem hardly worth it. Plus there's no status update for the past 10 days - I don't know if FedEx or USPS has my package, where it is, or if it's going to make it on time. I'd easily pay for expedited shipping but it's not available to HI. So I might just be done with Drop.

I don't have too many problem with FedEx in my neighborhood. There's an element of chance here.
My problem with Drop now is they just don't have the "interests" they used to, but that's another story.

Both FedEx and UPS routinely deliver more often to my neighbor one block over than to me... Amazon uses Intelcomm, which takes a picture showing my package on my front step. That works well. Cheap, too.

they should just have it fulfilled by Amazon. Drop is just awful. They should let us choose other options. Especially if it's coming from China.

Have to admit FedEx Smart Post is worst then the USPS book rate. For packages sent to Hawaii it makes it to Chino, CA in a few days but then stays there for 2-3+ weeks before arriving in Honolulu. On my last delivery information was sent to FedEx on 6/11 and got to me on 7/7.

SammiI live in HI and am new to drop. Smartpost taking 3-4 weeks for delivery is making me think I might just give up on Drop. It's a shame. I ordered headphones on 12/19, they're due 1/10 but there's been no status change for the past 10 days. This is painful.

I think massdrop should let you pick who delivered, having lived in different cities and different houses in those cities I have found some companies better then others by location. Nothing, I mean Nothing can get delivered in Baltimore City, it must by by amazon lock box or something similar. But out of the city, not so bad.

Massdrop-this needs to stop. Fedex is so bad my package has a better chance of getting to me faster and in better shape through natural causes, Ex:A goddamn tornado is still better than fucking fedex

Absolutely agree with this. FedEx delivers while I am at work. I asked specifically for them to leave the package at my door. When I called to find why this did not happen, they said that decision was up to the driver. I had to go all across town to pick up my package at one of their centers. This has happened enough times that if a company uses FedEx I refuse to order from them. It's just too frustrating and they are not concerned about their customers at all.

Work around for firmware/configuration update error "command not recognized"
I spent more than an hour attempting to update my Drop Shift keyboard. I'm not sure what has changed, but I was not able to do it entirely from the Drop website as I had previously done. I have most of the keys configured how I would like, but the default LED function was a very bright, distracting, rainbow wave going across the keyboard. Every time I turned the computer on I had to manually adjust the lights how I liked. Using the online version or the locally installed app, you first have to install the QMK XAP interface. You then have to flash your already configured firmware file, which can be done on the Drop website. If you are logged in your last configuration is saved under your account and you can alter what you like, so you don't have to start from scratch. So, following the instructions I selected the appropriate board, entered bootloader mode, but when attempting to flash the file, I would get an error that the C:/Users/Mike C..... command is not recognized...

Hello everyone! I'm looking to join DKC, but I have a few questions. The first day of November has already passed. Will I still get the coupon for November immediately after signing up today (Nov. 10)? What is the definition of Mechanical Keyboard products? Will the coupon apply to desk mats? I believe it should apply to everything listed under this category? For orders under $79, the coupon will be converted to a percentage discount. Will the percentage discount apply to all mechanical keyboard items in an entire order, or it can only be applied to a single mechanical keyboard item in the order? Thanks in advance!

I don't know who's idea it was to give them any business- but it was a bad idea & every delivery is a disaster. I've had 2 packages delivered to the wrong home and most currently I've been waiting upwards of 3 weeks for a package from New Jersey to California. In that time I've placed and received 2 orders from companies using USPS.
Use UPS, or USPS, or hire a guy on a bike with a wagon attached to the backside. Literally anything else would have better customer service, get us our packages faster and not be a tremendous disaster.
Please Massdrop, all you have to do is stop paying the morons.
