Very functional L-Bracket with a lug that accepts both slot and allen style tools. A nice groove to adjust lug positioning to fit multiple models as well as making it mountable in either direction on your camera body. The included tool is very useful and comes with a convenient latching mechanism that I use to attach it to my bag's D-Ring for easy access. I've owned this unit for about 6 months now and have had no problems with it whatsoever. The color attracts the eye and you will get comments from strangers asking what it is - this could be the only negative if you don't want that attention. I'm of the school that the attention helps deflect attention from people that don't want "pro" photographers in the area - it is high-visibility camouflage for the travel & street photographer. This pairs nicely with one of the colorful meFoto tripods.
