GotEmAllThe dust cover on them is just a flimsy piece of plastic and doesn't actually clamp onto the bottom case. As a result, the plastic can move around quite a bit and it might not be best to stack things on top of it because it's not that secure and would probably bend easily. Each keycap holder w/dust cover comes packaged in a black rectangle box so it might be best to put them in that and then stack those on top of one another if you do end up buying.
Surprise surprise... another "unexpected delay" from Massdrop.
They should just stop putting estimating shipping dates to save us from the routine disappointments.
I don't care if it's a problem with the vendors.
Hoping the shipping notifications come soon. These aren't as yet manufactured goods like key caps or massdrop made products. They should go out on time and there should be some indication that is or isn't happening by now.....
Thinking about the box switches fiasco, I'm not sure if this holder can actually cause more damage than actually prevents. Not that this switch holder is made from the same brand.
Is the OP stating and you responding to there potentially being some issues with the stems on the holder? Is he saying that these are the stems like the box switches which cause problems? I dont want to have issues on my GMK sets.
GotEmAllIt's just that myself and OP just wonder with all these tolerance issues floating around with potential to stretch the stems on keycaps. Nothing yet has said these will cause damage. That being said... I got mine a while ago and haven't got to mounting any keycaps to them. I just need to go through and measure the stems with my calipers and see what the tolerance range of these are. I can try to get to that later this evening.
