So this comment here states that 'solid colors' (including cognac) have no interior design. However, the latest comment from Benshee has the photo of the 'cognac' one with the interior design.
So which is it?
BENSHEEIt is not a leather lining in the picture from the website, it is a synthetic material like polyurethane. You must be glad you've got a nice printed lining instead.
I'm confused about interior pockets. The picture with the lining that is printed shows two slip pockets. The specs list only an interior zipped pocket, which is visible in a pic for a bag with _plain_ lining. Does the bag have both a zipped pocket AND two slip pockets on the other side of the interior? Or do the bags with plain lining (those that are one-color on the outside) have only a zipped interior pocket, while the double-colored bags that have printed lining have only two zipper-less interior pockets?
I bought this bag in the first drop and I find it just satisfactory in quality.
The bag is made with two wider pieces of leather on each side and the slimmer strips at the center. The leather quality itself appears to be good, but the leather obviously came from at least two different hides, one is more supple and thinner and with the more prominent grain than the other.
Makers strategically positioned leather pieces in a chess pattern on both sides of the bag, so it wouldn't be too obvious. It doesn't look very noticeable from outside but using the bag you can see and feel the difference.
Very good leather quality (whatever grade you're giving to it). I was surprised by its finishing and definitely was not expecting such a high quality bag for $140
