Bought the Inizio chair as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and it’s been a bit of a nightmare. The hydraulic lift didn’t work well initially after assembly so we read the FAQs on the Arozzi website and it seemed to be a common mistake that people forgot to take the red cap off, so we took it apart and realized afterward that our model has what looks like a red cap, but what is actually part of the mechanism (Ie. we had, in fact assembled correctly). Problem now is that the chair still won’t lift/descend properly at all, and it keeps getting stuck either in the fully down or fully lifted position, and the pedal just doesn’t seem to work. We both weigh in the 130-160lb range and neither of us can get it to work.

Ordered Apr 9, 2019. Reclining is already broken by December 2020. Doesn't lock at all. Barely even sitting back without pulling the lever and the thing goes full 170 degrees. Even worse, it will come almost all the way back to 90 degrees if I sit up, so the reclining lock mechanism must be made of the softest metal known to man. You'd think for $150 this'd at least be on par with other $100-$150 chairs but I guess that's why this lesser-known brand is relying on the time crunch hype promotional style of Drop

Is it compatible with the racing sim?
swatdoggyYes! The Velocita Racing Simulator is actually compatible with just about any standard 5 Star Base as its fully adjustable. It will pair perfectly with this chair. For those interested this is the Velocita Racing Simulator. It will be available on Drop.com again over the next few weeks. https://drop.com/buy/arozzi-velocita-racing-simulator

Just got my chair a few days ago. This is way better than most chairs offered, IMO, primarily because of the fabric option.

Which chair is better? Inizio or torreta?
MutedThe Inizio replaced the Torreta and is a slightly better chair.

Mainly joined this drop because of all of the amazing feedback I've heard of Arozzi Customer Support through this website. Mine should come in within the next 3 days, can't wait. Edit: Once I received it, assembly was a bit more work than I think it should've been (some parts could have been assembled by manufacturer without sacrifice of shipping space). Even so, assembly wasn't all that difficult. However, I'd 100% recommend getting the fake leather one. While these chairs offer MUCH better back support and posture than my old fake leather office chair, it's a lot less comfy (maybe I just need to break it in?). While it is a great chair for the price, I think I've seen better off-brand ones on Amazon that go for the same price as this drop. Edit: The reclining system in the chair had broke, and the chair couldn't stay in one place. Arozzi support immediately reached out to me and sent me a replacement part for the reclining system.

The chair has definitely broken in. However, now the chair wont recline and stay in one place. I'm only 155 lbs, and when I apply any pressure (just laying down) while the seat is reclined, the lock breaks all the way until the seat is reclined all the way. Is this normal?
w0nderinglyNo, definitely not normal. Please contact us at service@arozzi.com so we can get you taken care of.
