my order got lost in the mail and i ended up ordering this same knife from a different place, but its honestly so nice. i carry it with me everywhere. sharpens well and holds its edge. good for many things. comfortable to hold. nice handy little tool. looks sick too. ;)
I love the feel and heft of this knife. Very solid build, very solid blade. I love how it looks also. D2 needs sharpening more often than other steels but at the same time I never worry about being a bit more abusive to it. Canadians should avoid trying to have flipper tabs shipped over the border.
This is one solid feeling knife. I have it in my toolbox as it's too large for a pocket carry at the office. CAN THEY MAKE A 1/2 SCALE version???? Something al little larger than the Kershaw Cinder Copper. I bought one for my son, and he loves it. It opens up freely with one push of the thumb; sometimes, the blade doesn't lock. I make sure I flick it open with a bit more intent, and it latches. Holds an edge well.
Great knife, really satisfying to open and close. Like another used stated, clip is tight to you have to finangle it to clip onto jeans or other thick material, but once it's on its not going anywhere you don't want it to, so not the worst trade off in the world.
I love the klunky funky vibe of this knife. It's basically a cleaver you can carry in your pocket. The DAY I received the Hornet I managed to break the belt clip! The clip was extremely tight to the side of the handle; I almost couldn't get knife out of my pocket. I figured I could just bend the clip outward slightly, right? NOPE! Sucker snapped right off. I tried to contact Bestech customer service; that was a joke. This is actually the second time I've had an issue with a Drop product. Anyway, they never replied to my emails. There was no phone number to the company that I could find. Fortunately, I found a guy through Etsy that makes custom pocket clips and I ordered it from him (PopsCustomClips). It will be made from titanium, so I figure it will be more durable. So, in conclusion, great knife, dodgy pocket clip, terrible customer service.
