Boasting a solid titanium construction, the Bestech Small Emperor definitely carries the weight of its name. Armed with a 3.1-inch drop-point blade made from premium S35VN steel, it’s ready for battles big and small Read More
Massdrop has to do a little better with the cutting and pasting of specs and pitchers and most of us know this is not an isolated case so I think they should send us the Large Emperor depicted in the add just to avoid any false advertising claims. What do you guys think? Anywho I'm In for one and i'm hoping for the Large shows up
I don't give my money to companies that cut up firearms and donate exclusively to anti-Second Amendment politicians. Say what you want but sooner or later these same politicians will get around to deciding you don't "need" a knife with a blade longer than 3/4" or a knife with a certain type of "assault blade". Then you WILL care.
May be semantics, or word choice, but I’m a bit confused by the “ignorance” statement. Of what that Crunch said that was ill-informed? Though you may not agree with him, and I am by no means endorsing his comment, but what he contended is an accurate observation followed by a statement that this is not a knife for him. Fair position for him to hold.
Also, for what it's worth, i have a couple made in usa kershaws and never knew they offered lifetime sharpening lol
That said, I've never been all that impressed with kershaw's factory edges to begin with.
Bestech, on the other hand...the majority of the ones I've bought have been wicked sharp right out of the box
glennacI know this is too late to help you, but for future drops :
The green/gold is actually referring to the two tone stonewashed/tumbled finish on the handle itself.
Yes, the clip and collars are blue.
Hey everyone. Thanks for pointing out our mistake in regards to the specs. This drop is for the Small Emperor and has been priced based on the Small Emperor's MSRP. The page has been updated, we appreciate everyone who participated in the discussion and who helped make this drop successful.
The standard Emperor retails for around $190 while the small retails around $170. So the $140 price point here on Massdrop pretty much guarantees it’s the small. Either way who cares, because $140 for the small is a GOOD deal but if it’s for the standard then it’s a GREAT deal! I’m in.
If this truly is the smaller version as listed in the title, not the specs... And anyone who buys it decides it's too small for them, I have a full size in gold I'd be willing to trade. Brand new condition, cut a piece of paper, never carried
EDIT: offer retracted. Did a straight trade with VoodooSan, very happily in possession of the smaller version now 😁👍
VoodooSanYeah, absolutely! As long as you're is still in fresh out of the box condition

Massdrop must have copied and pasted the specs from BladeHQ.com, who copied and pasted the BT1703 series (bigger knife) directly over to the BT1808 series (smaller knife). The large and the small knives are both call the Emperor. Since it says that it’s the Small Emperor (in the title) then the specs that @VipeX has pasted in are correct.
Before I join the Drop I would appreciate if you clarify this issue. Is it the Small Emperor with a 3” blade or is it the regular one with the 3.6” blade?
