Pretty dope. Nice size, good action, no blade play or other QC issues. Bestech isn't perfect, but they are pretty reliable and this is another solid entry, at pretty good price.
I just received mine today and all I have to say is it's a home run. The knife was silky smooth out of the box packed in it's nice carrying case and it was razor sharp. So sharp in fact that it made me bleed my own blood on my forth flip when the blade glanced my thumb. The milled design on the scale, milled back spacer, and pivot collars gives it a subtle but blingee look plus the Entire knife is chamfered inside and out including the jimping, not a hot spot on the knife. The balance of the blade favors the scale side slightly but it feels Right for this knife and the pocket clip paired with the smooth scales won't eat up your dress pants. This knife seems like it will be a great work knife that will clean up nice for a knight out on the town. I would have gave it 4 and half stars if it were an option because the detent could be a bit tighter IMO but that's just my taste. It deploys every time with a light switch motion and I'm sure it will get better after a couple days of use.
Nice enough. I removed the pocket clip, since it was annoying me (it, unlike the rest of the knife, had some sharpish edges), and it was too small for me to really use it for much. Beautiful action, I love the chamfering on the knife, and the gimping on the flipper struck me as a particularly nice touch. It's a little unbalanced in my hand, which is annoying, and feels a little unhandy to me. (The knife is handle-heavy to a moderate degree).
I like the coloring (I got the multi-colored model), and, as these things go, it's a very pretty knife. I don't expect it to ever become a favorite, however, since I find that the unbalanced nature of it irritates me when I pick it up. I probably wouldn't have purchased it had I encountered it in a store, where I could assess the balance and test the way it felt when I considered using it to perform a task, but, that said, it's certainly a well put together knife (I cannot fault the craftsmanship, just the design).
I also like the cutouts near the pommel of the blade, but I wish they had gone all the way thru the liners, so that with the blade open I could see light thru them.
I'd probably give it 3.5 stars, but 3 seemed a little low...
For a “Small” knife it’s larger than I expected. The length checks out with what Drop and other sites say the Small Emperor should be. Then why is the box labeled “Medium” on the end? 🤔
Gorgeous knife, really. The Green/Gold and Blue accents definitely make for a nice combination. Action is good right out of the box. And once the lock is disengaged, just the slightest of drops will close the blade. Love the smooth contoured scales. I’m no expert on blade steel, so I’ll let others talk about that.
Not overly heavy and evenly balanced. Here it is among the rest of the collection for size comparison.
