I got this one last week — I was anticipating it as a higher quality CRKT CEO — more usable size, and at more than double the price, expected it to be better quality. I can't say it delivered: especially with the leather pull attached to the lanyard hole feeling like an afterthought and the belt clip loose out of the box. A fastener worked it's way out of the clip within 24 hours and I found the thread filed down. It appears the screws had been trimmed down to accommodate the thin profile of the knife ... or stripped on assembly, I didn't see any Loctite on them either. I like it, even thought the design is a little funky with the double 'prong' at top, but the build quality is not inline with what I'd expect from Böker.

3 angles, 2 of which are super similar. That's all we get to see here? Drop seriously needs to work on their product photos.

People have told me I'm no gentleman at all! Can I still buy the knife?

Great looking knife. Good size to weight for a gents knife. However, the only thing it needs that is keeping me from buying, is a deep carry clip. Way too much sticking out of the pocket especially when wearing dress/suit pants. YMMV

Omegaman68Good point. A gentleman style knife should probably have a deep carry clip (if it has a clip at all).

Ike32no clip= lump in your pocket gimme a well-selected knife with a sweet pocket clip any day. A WE 618 is going to be less noticeable in a pair of slacks than a Cadet sitting flat and wide at the bottom of your pocket.

I have one of these already (in wood), and it's a really cool knife. I like the design a lot. Unfortunately it is a Boker, so gaps in the backspacer, and a clip screw that won't thread properly. Oh well. Edit (more details): Action is very good for a blade this light. Blade stock is very thin, and handle thickness is comparable to a Delica, so super low profile in pocket. Clip works but wiggles a lot, would probably work better if both screws threaded, but whatever (fuck you boker). Deployment is good (front flipping and standard), but a little sharp given how small the tabs are. If you don't already have knife callouses, front flipping in particular will start to hurt pretty quickly if you are fidgeting. Front flipping is a bit tricky. Probably shouldn't be your first front flipper. Detent is excellent. Genuinely stellar. Lockup is fine. No play in either direction. It is about 75% though. Very comfortable (except for flipper tabs), not a lot to hold on to, but no major hot spots, and the clip is very low profile. Gimping is a little aggressive though, you may want to knock it down with a sharpening stone or whatever. Fit and finish is....Boker. Fuck you Boker. You turned a truly cool design into a 6 or 7 out of 10 knife because you are lazy and complacent. Overall: I like it quite a bit, and it is a phenomenal fidget knife, but I would expect qc issues, so if you aren't willing to put up with that, then don't. Boker needs to learn how to manufacture knives properly anyway.

At least some Chinese-made Boker knives are built by Sanrenmu, there's no reason why this one couldn't have been built a little better. SRM had a really nice bearing pivot 12c27 (admittedly a Sebenza-based design) knife that even had rubber gaskets between the pivot and G10 to help prevent the pivot backing out, and cost $20 or less. I think they mainly discontinued it in preparation for launching Ruike, to be honest.

OmniseedYeah, we have seen that if left to their own devices Sanrenmu will make some really well made stuff. There is an excellent write up on potential reasons for the difference. https://drop.com/talk/23167/an-afternoons-play-with-the-kershaw-reverb/2432646
