Mixed feelings about these...No longer, Now just disappointment (see update below)

So I took a chance on these normally $250 shades for $49 on drop. Well I have bought other shades, for much less, that I am more satisfied with. I bought the Silver Titanium with Blue lens based on the drop picture, which made it look as if the blue was a reflective coating, but reality is the white light back lighting the blue lens just made it look that way, so when you put them on, the lens looks black/dark lens from the outside, the blue goes away from an aesthetic standpoint. The glasses are super light. The hinge springs are nice, the silver finish is a matte finish but looks good. They fit comfortably. The lens clarity is fine, but I do not like that it gradually gets lighter from top to bottom, the tint fades to almost nothing at the bottom of the glasses (I am used to a solid tint through the whole lens, just not my cup of tea). The polarization is there, but nothing remarkable. Bottom line, for me, they are usable glasses but if I had seen these in a store first, I would not have considered buying them at all. Others may love them, but I do not. Ce La Vie... Update: The sun finally came out here and I tried out my Breed sunglasses again, only to notice upon further inspection that my lens are also separated from the frame and poorly fitted, so I have downgraded my thoughts about these glasses even more, so uterly disappointed in these glasses now and in DROP for putting them out to us for sale.

Further update: received a replacement pair from company, wish their product was as good as the customer service, second set of glasses is actually worse than the first with lens gap on both lens now. Live and learn, never from this company again. Final update: As I mentioned above customer service has been outstanding in trying to replace glasses, but after the second pair came in worse than the first, they offered for me to pick a different style from their webpage and try those, so I figured 3 time might be the charm. Well it was more like 3 strikes and your out. The pair I got is visually nice (https://wearbreed.com/collections/orpheus/products/breed-orpheus-sunglasses-gunmetal-frame-blue-lens-062bl) but the lens rattle and fit loosely in the frame itself and the hinges have a week and slightly loose feeling to them, just not worth the money that the company asks for them, or even the much reduced offer on drop. They do fit fairly well, but the overall craftsmanship on all three pairs I have is so utterly disappointing. No more from resultco.com brands. I nearly cancelled my account on DROP because of this experience, and I now see that they are still trying to sell other brands under this companies umbrella.

Quality Control

The first big issue for me with this sunglasses is quality control. It seems that some buyer has received deflective ones, including myself. As noted in the pictures, the lenses are not properly fitted. I don't know what Breed sunglasses other buyers purchased but the Silver Titanium Blue does not look anything like the photo on the product description. In certain lighting, the lenses do appear bluish but otherwise look very dark. If I knew these lenses would be this dark I would have just went with shade with black lenses but then again with the quality control, maybe not.

Light, but shape looks like bug eyes and poor fit and finish.

I was thinking when I bought them , that they are really nicely priced polarized glasses. But when I received them, I see why. They look like bug eyes for one, then the nose rest is setup for a skinny thin nose. Or they are just in the wrong spot. Then the big gaps in the lens to frame. I would like to get a box sent to me, with a return label so I can return these. Or my money back. I buy alot from Drop and this is one thing I just can't except. Even at a cheap price, I cant just be tossing my money in the trash.

Terrible build quality

If I bought these for $10 at CVS, I’d still be disappointed. The biggest issue is that the lenses aren’t sized properly to the frames (images show the gaps). Additionally, the frames are just flimsy, and flex in directions they shouldn’t. Even with careful use, I wouldn’t expect them to last more than 3 months without getting permanently bent out of shape. To Drop’s credit, Brett offered me a refund literally a couple minutes after I sent in the complaint.

Not bad, get what you pay for.

I bought the square “Hera” model. First impression is that they’re very light, and seem well made. Totally worth the roughly $50 paid, but that’s about as expensive as they feel. I have a similar pair I bought from REI for a similar price, and I think I like those a bit more. They’re also slightly bigger than I was expecting. The Heras are on top, and a $20 Costco pair is on the bottom. The bottom pair is pretty standard in size, the Breed pair is just slightly too big, at least for my normal sized head/face. Update: had about a week now. The gap other folks have noticed is barely there on my pair, but it is there. These now just stay in the car. They feel closer to my $20 pair in terms of quality, though I do appreciate the spring hinges and lightness, not sure how long these will hold up.

I once bought a 5$ pair. Was much better.

That's a huge disappointment, box torn apart, frame itself had a big bad indentation and the glass itself outside of frame and of poor quality. First time I regret buying at Drop, the good thing is I considered inviting my friend to join this drop, and only considered is the good part. Overall quality also feels cheap, so I'm not even considering a replacement.

poor quality, stay away!

Like others say, there is a gap on one side of the glasses and this is just matter of time when the glass will pop out of this frame. When I touch this "defective" side, it's making clicking noise :)) Ridiculous. Would not recommend to anyone.

This is a bad product, stay away people. Lenses are not sitting properly in the frame. There are gaps all around. Box was torn/cut open, when I received it, which might have been customs. I can't really imagine, why they would cut/tear open the box, but hey. Stay away people. E: For some reason I can't even post a review. The site either does nothing or just sends me to an error page.
