VA3TOXThese speakers are 6 ohms so that amp is delivering between 160W (8 ohm rating) and 300W (4 ohm rating). Depending on volume they are going to get even less than that, but the wattage doesn't really matter a ton. Hope they sound amazing!
VA3TOXawesome!
how are you liking the sound for games/movies/music?
living vicariously, as i didn't see the drop in time to pick them up, but i'm hoping to catch them next time around.
VA3TOXNot making fun of you for having a computer monitor on top of a plastic tub while living in an unfinished house still showing the studs (basement?), we’ve all been there at some point, but wow man did you max out your audio enjoyment or what?? 😁
I’ve got some smaller (and older) Chane bookshelf speakers myself, so I know your towers are good and I find myself a little jealous! Enjoy! 🤜🏻
Evshrugwell... I did blow a bit into the basement finishing budget to get these. Also the boss of the house didn't like the look of the speakers in our main listening room and I'm back with small JBLs for the lounge. The situation is slightly better than when I posted that... but you get the picture. Totally enjoying the towers though
VA3TOXAnd I'll have to correct your statement... It's an OPPO UDP-205 sitting on a plastic tub that has a monitor sitting on top of it. Even more janky but hopefully more recognition at the same time ;-)
VA3TOXI wasn’t sure what that middle component was, haha 😅
I believe, in MMO Games, they call that “Min-Maxing!” But before you get a good speaker amp, try and make sure to seal the drafts down there first 😉
