Charly13579For me it costs 300$(because shipping to germany) and youre just paying a block of aluminium, a pcb plate, some switches and keycaps. This is basically just material that costs less than 100$. I just dont get how they can sell that stuff for so much :o
Charly13579The short answer is that it's a boutique board made using premium materials and fabrication techniques. We are working on growing to make economies of scale work in our favor, but in the meantime we are limited by the tooling and labor costs involved in making this.
There's a lot of details here you simply don't see on other cases. The top half of the keyboard is essentially a super-plate, carved out of a 25mm thick block of aluminum. A lot of work and effort went into perfecting both the shape and finish of the case. The end result is a high quality keyboard with a very luxurious feel.

iLoveTomb3rYwell, you're biased because you don't like the guy who ate a sock. Is he the guy who stole your renders or something? Gotta love keyboard drama
zoomwaltIt's exactly people like you who creates dramas all the time, keep on spreading your conspiracy theories. Great job.
Btw, please enlighten me on how not to be biased with opinions.
Charly13579$300 is certainly a lot of money, but this is a very good deal for what it is. On my most recent build, just the case, pcb, plate and keycaps cost over $450. That's not considering switches, SIP sockets, LEDs, stabilizers, and assembly materials (solder, etc.). This is not a mass produced off-the-shelf product. It is a custom machined housing and custom pcb that is limited in production numbers. Try having this made on your own and then you'll see expensive.
