HotlogThey have been making 1911's for the past decade. But based on my experience with two of them, you will need this tool just to get the damn things to function. In fact, I think the most useful tool to include in this thing would be a dedicated tool to help extract cases that get all kinds of stuck when trying to run their 1911. The bushing wrench is a cool concept, but off all the 1911's I've had or handled, ruger's have been the loosest, so the need for a bushing wrench is questionable. I have found that only the tightest fit high-end 1911's need a bushing wrench, and the fact that this one is metal and will scratch the finish, means that no one is going to use it on their precious 2-3K 1911
