Hello,
May I know which picture is the actual pair that will be shipped? The 'selection' picture and the model worn picture shows 2 different socks. If you'd noticed, in the model worn picture there's an extra seam of colour at the top and the heel cushion ends above the ankle. In the 'selection' picture there's no seam of colour at the top of the sock and the heel cushion ends at ankle level.
With that being said, I would also like to know if the actual pair would be alright to wear in a warm country; talking 30 degrees, or is it purely meant for cold countries.
Thank you!

I am disappointed. These are much thinner than I expected. The Costco hiking socks are at least TWICE as thick. These do seem to be quality socks, just not the level of ruggedness, warmth, and cushioning I’d hoped for.
If they have the style and size you want, REI is even cheaper. ;-)
One of the things I liked about the Costco socks was that they would shrink to fit, like Levi’s 501s! I never had to worry about those socks falling down. I’m coming to like these darn tough socks, but they don’t have the staying power that the Costcos did. They also don’t have nearly the amount of padding, unless you get the super, extra, heavy, maximum “cushion“. I need to figure out what they actually call it, and make sure I get that, not the mid range “cushion“, which is just too thin for my taste.
