I really like this form factor and the stiff plate this ships with. It turns out that I don't like the acrylic stacks, and that is at least partially due to the lack of quality with this particular product. The plates aren't all the exact same size and so they kind of slide around.
This keyboard is not all that bad. The look of it is really cool. I appreciate the stacked acrylic look. My qualms come in the build quality and software. The layers of acrylic aren't exact and don't line up, so there is some wiggle. Also the edges are SHARP. Especially where I might rest my wrist, the edges dig into my wrist/hand and it makes it super uncomfortable. The software also is atrocious. This is another case where it would have been more beneficial for a board to have QMK support.
Sandwich style board but the layers don’t seem to match up the greatest and even tightened down, there is still some wiggle between the layers. The hardware for this board is extremely low quality as well and I don’t trust it enough to tighten the screws to too tight. Plate is not cut well and switches get stuck in the plate. Ruined a couple switches trying to pull them out. This board looks so cool and has so much potential. I would much rather pay another $50-$100 for a high quality version of this board. A little disappointed.

Meh
The acrylic case was horrible. Some layers were warped when they arrived. You get what you pay for.
Bought this board as a beginner build for the S/O. Overall gat yellow are not great but I went ahead an swapped to box burnt orange and some different caps since it was her b-day gift and I wanted to spice up the DNA65. To address the software issue go to KP Republic and download their drivers which should yield you back your F-keys. Mine also has an issue with the "?" button but it seems to be working for the time being and could be a bad socket (waiting to hear back from support but I think I might have fixed it). All in all if you plan on building it up this board can yield some awesome results and at a very decent price.
I love the design. The acrylic stack is nicely designed, with a wonderful diffusion of the plate. I love how the LEDs carry through it. My only issue is the wiggly-ness of the stack. The holes for each piece seems slightly too large, so each plate has a bit of wiggle. Would love to a remodel where the holes are tighter to alleviate this. But overall, been loving it.
