keyboard is fantastic as far as feel, weight, build quality, typing, switches.. etc. there are two reasons I didn't give five stars, and deducted a star for each.
1) the feet "extensions" are magnetic.. which, in theory, would be fine. however, the magnets aren't strong enough. they slide off easily. which then makes me remove them due to the annoyance of they constantly sliding off. either stronger magnet needed or some way to "mount" them more securely.
2) this needs a num pad on it. I thought i'd be able to live without it, but I do so much number entry that I find myself looking for the 10 key and it's just not there. in the end, I switched back to different keyboard. kinda bummed.
if the two above items were to be fixed, i'd rate this a six star out of five.
FatexI see bad scores on products in a similar vein to this all the time. Someone received something damaged in shipping or from a bad seller on amazon and then give bad product scores. They aren't reviews, but the scores average with the actual reviews none the less and give worse than bad, they give incorrect impressions.
kshaferbuy a mappable num pad man, i'm a aerospace eng and gamer, i prefer the TKL w/ num pad setup as opposed to it all being on one keyboard. this allows me to postion the num pad in a more comfortable postion where my hand naturally rests....with gaming i just map the 12 keys or so that i need and play solely on that....seriously give it a shot, it took me 10 years to figure this out becuase i'm and idiot, lol but i'm certianly not going back.
