I've had this keyboard since October and love it, but recently my S key has stopped responding consistently. I checked to see if there was anything interfering with actuation and cannot find any obvious issues with the switch or key layers. It feels like a board problem. I am surprised to be seeing this type of issue so early in the keyboards lifetime. I'm beyond the 30 day return period, do I have any recourse? Is there any kind of RMA service? This thing is way too expensive to have problems so soon :(
fury99Hi, I'm sorry to hear about this situation. The good news is that we do have a 1 year warranty for all Drop Studio products (like this one), so we will be able to get you sorted out. As far as troubleshooting goes (and to help with the warranty process), I'd like to ask a few questions if you don't mind. When you checked for interference or other issues with the switches, did you take the case apart and look at the PCB (including the hotswap sockets on the back)? Something that might also help isolate the problem is to swap another switch into the 'S' socket - if the 'S' key continues to have issues, then it's something with the PCB, but if the problem moves to the other location then we know it's the switch that is causing problems. Could you let me know what you find?

Keyboard looks and sounds great. The only problem I noticed after I purchased this April, 17 2022 (4 months ago), is that my letter "i" key will randomly double-click or not activate. Hard to replicate the issue consistently and only just recently started noticing it happening more often.

Does the light shine through the letters?

Just bought this keyboard and agree with a few others about the keys being hard to read. Honestly though if you're spending this much money on a keyboard you should probably already have memorized where all your keys are. Only issue I'm troubled to find is customizing the hot keys and rgb lighting. Any Help?
johnnybirmeleYou can use your keyboard configurator and select CTRL. Here: https://drop.com/mechanical-keyboards/configurator

I won't be buying one, but if I did I would absolutely be referring to it as a CTRL. When does the Australiana drop? Or the British? The Kenyan? Are there plans for a prebuilt Tokyo60 release in the future called the Japanese? The name is super unfortunate and something I really wouldn't want to associate with a product I'm purchasing.

treeizzleI agree. Nice keyboard but calling it Americana is far-fetched. Hand-assembled in the states using international parts? bad marketing as far as I can tell.

Nice keyboard! Dropping $350 on it? Idiotic.
Nice Blues. But ... when using two or more shades of say, blue, they really need to be more obviously different, if you know what I mean. Yea, I can barely read the legends on my screen.

Weird that these new boards are still using the classic Holy Pandas, vs the new X ones.

So basically a drop CTRL, + macfarlane mt3 plus switches… actually it’s probably the same price if you were to build it yourself using drop parts

Particularly given the price, I think I would prefer to be able to read the legends on the keys (aside from the highly visible ESC and RETURN keys). The alpha legends are nearly invisible in the photos.

That's a bit better! Still not the best contrast, but it's a little easier to see the legends.
