TiondarPossibly, I don't have experience with them but I recommend Periapt for a long-term sturdy cable.

TiondarI have this amp ordered and am considering either the Grace Sdac balanced or the Topping D50. Is the much higher priced D50 worth the xtra money?

Interceptor69I have the D50, it was a big step up from the DAC module on my all-in-one unit. It's a good DAC, I notice that it sounds 'closed in' and congested. It is connected to my all-in-one's line in, bypassing the inbuilt DAC. The preamp section in my all-in-one widens the sound up when sending the signal out to my electrostats, but I still think I can do better.
For the price it is a very competent DAC, good detail and even over the frequency spectrum, it's just not the last word in the DAC game, that's all. Thinking of upgrading to a Soekris DAC in a month or two.

TiondarI tried to order this amp and after 5 months of waiting i gave up. How did it take for you to receive yours? I don't mind waiting a couple of months but 5?

lori.lattaI ordered it at the end of march and it arrived at the beginning of october, but i had to wrestle with Italian custom for more than a month. Honestly i was in no hurry but that last month was REALLY annoying, but it’s not drop’s fault so....next drop seems to ship faster, so you should have it sooner than mine

TiondarSo you waited half a year, I can't wait that long maybe for a house to be built. At least you finally got it. I think I am going with the Monolith 124459 on Amazon it is $100 bucks more but from what I have read it performs very similar to 789.
