Mechanical keyboards have 2 characteristics that vary and you should pick based on what you like. They are audible click and physical feedback. Mx blue has both, ms brown has the feedback without much click. Mx keys travel abour half way before the key is actually actuated but alps keys actuate near the top. Mx brown was my first mech keyboard and I love it. Great for fast typing and gaming. Recently I got alps white and I like it even more. The audible click and high actuation point makes it easy for some games (while not for some) and feedback is great for typing (makes it more fun?).
