Burly 1095 Blade, Versatile Canvas Micarta Handle
A full pound of steel and canvas micarta, the ESEE 5 is built to take abuse in the field. The 5.25-inch blade is made from 1095 carbon steel, known for its toughness. It features powder coating to help resist wear and corrosion—which comes naturally in the great outdoors. At over 6 millimeters thick, the blade excels in slicing, chopping and hard-use tasks. The handle, made from canvas micarta, has a bow drill divot for starting a fire in a pinch and a glass breaker on the bottom if you need to break through a window in an emergency. Though meant for taxing work, the jimped spine helps control the knife for more precise tasks. Upgrade to the options with a sheath for secure carry on the go.
