I lubed and film these switches and slapped them into a Keychron q2. I really enjoyed the slight tactile bump and a rather muted yet deep sound. I did have some individual switches that didn't sound right but it was most likely due to the film adjusting while I was putting them together. With that in mind I don't think these necessarily need to be filmed but lubing might be a good idea. All in all, I really enjoyed these switches and was a nice intro into tactile switches. If you buy these I don't think you'll be disappointed, hopefully.
It's a very nice sharp tactile bump, but unlike my zealios that force your finger back up while pressed, these oreos become insanely light after they're pressed, I feel like a feather could keep it down after you get it past the bump. I only have them on a number pad, but I love the feel there and I'd love to swap them over to a full board someday!
I bought these as a backup in the event I have to go back into the office with my keyboard (I've got a moonlander with Kahil box whites that are noisy as hell). They're very quiet, but still have a nice tactile feel to it. I would maybe prefer a more pronounced bump, but otherwise they're phenomenal.
These switches have a really nice tactile bump, and actually have a really tight housing. I usually film my switches, but I didn't think these needed them. I also noticed less stem wobble on these than my Durock T1s.
These switches are similar to T1s with a clear stem, making them a strong candidate for a switch with middling tactility if that's what you prefer. Benefits from film, and I'd recommend a thinner lube. I used 205g0 on mine and the ones I didn't put in my keyboard are significantly more sluggish, so perhaps even though I recommend thinner lube, thicker lube could break in enough for some of you.
I love these switches so much, would buy more if I had a board to go with them. I didn't have any scratchy issues, but they still got even better with lube.
I have used these switches since July and I have to say that I love them. They remind me of the Kailh BOX Browns that I had on my previous board but are way more tactile. I have used them unlubed for most of the time I've had them. However, I just lubed them with G-lube, and they feel fantastic! For me they are the best tactile switch.
