Simply saying that a torch is IPX-8 certified, literally means NOTHING. The IPX-8 rating states "The equipment is suitable for continuous immersion in water under conditions which shall be specified by the manufacturer. " Without the manufacturer's specifications, it is as good as not being certified at all.
FYI, these flashlights are rated for IPX-8 up to 2 meters.
Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Factor Equipment Cossatot 1000 & 1000XL Flashlights and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 7/1.

I know this is a new company but owning over 50 flashlights from various brands and several custom builds i have to say im impressed with what these guys do. They build a tough flashlight and are a great group of people. If you have never tested out one of Factor's lights I highly recommend them. They have the best customer service Ive dealt with if you ever do have a problem. I now own one of each of their lights and couldnt be any happier with them.
