I like it for a box/ tape rope string etc knife..better than just a box or razor knife. price isnt GREAT but its average. if i lose it or it breaks..no big deal.
bambam67Thanks for doing Drop's job and posting a variety of angles!
Not for me, but it's definitely different from the typical "me too" tactical knives out there. Good effort on the design Gerber. Next time work on the steel. 7cr is unacceptable and 8cr is only okayish at this price anymore because there are brands doing d2 and sandvik 14c28n for ~$30 now. Have to step up to keep up.
Gleanings from Amazon reviews. This is a terrible flipper. The pivot requires TWO T8s to adjust it. The grind was bad (one comment). It runs on washers (unspecified material). The clip is deep carry.
What do you call the hipster version of r/mallninjashit? i feel like this is what this is. But I'm not gonna lie, I'd gladly accept this as a Christmas gift. Hah!
How exactly is a flipper "optimized for ambidextrous use"? Advertising an inherent trait of the opening mechanism as "optimized" screams, "there is nothing special about this knife, and we have nothing to say about it."
$30 for a steel frame lock with 7CR17MoV from freaking Gerber? Hard pass. Not to mention it's only $3 more on Amazon, who doesn't delay every fucking order by a month.
