A true diver, the Glycine Combat Sub Aquarius is water resistant to a remarkable 500 meters. If build-quality is any indicator of strength, this watch certainly feels the part, too Read More
Paul68Paul68: I have the same one, and I too thought there was no lume. The truth is that there is no practical lume. Get out a loupe and look at the center of the hands, the rectangle on the seconds hand, and the center of the chapter ring pips. There is lume, but it is black lume. Different colors of lume have differing levels of light. Black lume has an almost useless level of light. And it doesn't last that long either.
Test it by shining a flashlight on it for half a minute or so, and then going into a completely dark room. You will not see the lume unless the room is pitch dark.
One thing that I can say though is that a white face with black hands is pretty easy to read at night if there is any ambient light at all, a fire escape sign somewhere in the room for instance, or a moon, or even if Jupiter or Venus are out!
"Honestly, I don't care if you got the joke or not."
Allow me to translate: "I was wrong, you called me on it, so I'll change the subject."
I appreciate it when people with first-hand experience with a product contribute to the discussions about products I am considering purchasing here, and I try to contribute myself when I have first-hand experience with a product. I own this watch. You don't. My wrist is his same dimensions. I responded to your misleading flip sarcasm. Now we are in a who's full of himself fight. The last to respond loses. Your move.
Cloaca"Allow me to translate: "I was wrong, you called me on it, so I'll change the subject." hahaha. Seems you were 'mislead' again. pfft.
"I responded to your misleading flip sarcasm. " hahaha. so you didn't get it. Clearly why you responded with such idiotic pomposity and then keep making excuses for why you didn't get it or were "mislead".
"Now we are in a who's full of himself fight." Ha. I'll concede that one to you. You're just too much for me there, champ.
Small wrist, big watch. The end.
The only one changing the subject is you, Clown. Flippant sarcasm is exactly what that was, glad you finally figured that out. Maybe soon you'll figure out that one should not get so worked up over some harmless sarcasm.
I love the watch but the lume is not that good(as compared to an SKX!). Also, I have to remove the original rubber straps and have it on a NATO instead.
