Mod your keyboard with this novelty keycap set, named for the carbon element on the periodic table and featuring many of the warning signs found around a chemistry lab. Designed by A. Schmidt (you may know him as spoonyluv47 on Reddit, or T0mb3ry on GeekHack), they’re made in Germany using extensive custom toolings—one of the first times GMK has done this many keycaps. This set is compatible with a variety of different keyboards, including those with standard and non-standard layouts.
The legends on these ultra-thick, ultra-durable ABS keycaps for R1 and R3 depict the symbols for half-life, biohazard, radioactive, and more. The US ANSI “Enter” key displays graphene: a tightly packed layer of carbon atoms bonded together in a hexagonal honeycomb pattern—the thinnest, lightest, and strongest compound known to man.
