Drop back in the watch game? Color me shocked--and more than a bit leery.
Generally I'm not one to rain on one's parade, but anyone seriously considering plunking down $1,189 big ones for a watch, should look before they leap. A couple of places I'd suggest looking are:
Hamilton's own website for more information including Hamiltons model number:
https://www.hamiltonwatch.com/en-us/h77736733-khaki-aviation-x-wind-auto-chrono.html
Then Chrono24's website (where people try to unload hasty purchases) but where a wider range of prices can be found:
https://www.chrono24.com/hamilton/ref-h77736733.htm?srsltid=AfmBOopIoXSf2OOzD0dhPOljPMYdzo1y_OykwHtO67Br3YtwWVhfpdMD
And this site, which claims to offer "Limited Quantities" of the very same watch for only $995. I have no experience with the seller and the price is likely a come-on/bait and switch ruse but still worth checking out (cautiously), just in case:
Mod Edit: Removed self-declared sketchy link
RayF
Imagine that! A so-called MOD removing my link? Never mind, anyone interested can find the site by searching for Hamiltons model number—and possibly save a grand for their efforts.
RayF"And this site, which claims to offer "Limited Quantities" of the very same watch for only $995. I have no experience with the seller and the price is likely a come-on/bait and switch ruse"
Or, you know, just tell people to Google "sus Hamilton watch prices".
cenotaphI could, but then some folks might think I was talking down to them (people are so sensitive these days). Anyway, if Drop hadn't seen fit to delete the link I provided, we wouldn't be having this conversation, would we? Which begs the questions: "What are they hiding and what don't they want you to know?"
