One of the first spacebars made by keycap design house Hammer, the Lagoon Artisan Spacebar resembles, you guessed it, a lagoon: a shallow body of water separated from a larger body of water by a barrier of islands or reefs. It features small sections of blue peeking through a field of green, which is surrounded by earthy brown to complete the tropical ensemble Read More

Favorite drop I joined--- yes, the wood is darker than the sample picture, but man, is it gorgeous! The stem was a little loose but I just jammed it a little harder in and it stays well now on my Leopold. Super lovely buy, and compliments my keyboard theme very well.
My only complaint is if you use a very powerful light to look through the see-through part you can see some shavings in between the layers of resin. In normal use it is absolutely not visible as it requires a pretty substantial light to see it.
This is an excellent value and looks beautiful.
Edit: I've put this spacebar to use and I'm not having the issue I originally had. I think when I test mounted it my stabilizers didn't seat evenly which caused the spacebar to stick. This was my fault - they spacebar looks amazing and backlight brings it to life.
The spacebar looks amazing. Mine looks just the the photos, probably slightly darker wood than the photos but I don't have mine under studio lights for photography so that might make a difference. The fitment of my spacebar is slightly off. I think the mounts are slightly closer together than they should be which creates some friction limiting the smooth action. I've only just test-fitted it but if I start to use it and it becomes an issue I'll update this review.
I may have lucked out based on others' reviews here, as I'm very happy with mine. Received it back in March and have been using it. Wood isn't dark, resin fill looks good, fit is snug. I'm using it with a Cherry profile set of key caps and it prominently sits higher, so I think it would match OEM profile more. That said, it doesn't bother me, and I've never accidentally touched my space bar because of this. I'm a fan of this and would recommend it, but as seen in others' reviews, YMMV.
MD asked me to write a review, what can I say... I liked it enough that I bought it again in a different size (for my new RAMA M60A). FYI, I don't always write good reviews.
P.S. Having said what I said above, I really hope quality can be maintained for this new round.
Looks good but has this weird nonstandard layout that doesn't fit all of my TKLs. I've never had a standard sized spacebar not fit before so that was kinda weird. Backlight gimmick is a gimmick, it's not very see-through
Fantastic spacebar. The top is angled almost like what you get when you flip an OEM or Cherry spacebar upside-down. I've been using it ever since I received it and it isn't showing any signs of wear.
A couple things to keep in mind; you won't get the full effect unless your spacebar is backlit. My Ducky board actually had extra optional spots for LEDs so I moved one of the default ones to light the spacebar better. Also, this spacebar doesn't really match Jelly Key's Artifact series all that well because although the motif is the same the wood is considerably darker than what JK uses, so they look mismatched.
