hoodafukisaliceI understand. My hands are tied a little in disclosing specifics, but the 303x is a stereo chipset for use when both (sets of) drivers (L/R) are wired physically to the same chip. Does that help?
streamsNo, they do not use True Wireless Stereo Plus. For reliable connectivity and more widespread compatibility the TW5’s didn’t implement the “Plus” tech.
hoodafukisaliceNo need to get touchy. Drew's comment appears to have provided valuable information if you are able to read between the lines (i.e. they are obviously not using the 303x chipset) rather than viewing it as condescending.
hoodafukisaliceWell if you know one chipset needs to be wired to both L/R common sense tells you they are not using that one since they are not connected.
hoodafukisalice"I am already aware of the differences between 300x and 303x!"
You sure about that my dude? 🤔
Because if you are.
Why on earth would you have bothered to ask this question? That you were supposedly "already aware of". 🙄
I highly recommend you try a little humility my friend. Unless you enjoy the taste of that foot in your mouth. In which case then. By all means. Go on with your bad self.
DrewChowenThanks... two areas of questions: easy - does it do multipoint (connected to 2 devices at once)?
More - passive isolation is critical. Does it sit deep into canal? Did you get an NRR? Can you use triple flange tips (to go deep) & fit in the charger? What’s the longest tip that’ll fit the charger? Which Comply fits w/ charger?
Thanks again
FearlessleaderI’ll have to look into the rating and the Comply size, but I can tell you that for the majority of men’s ears the TW5’s do an excellent job of passive isolation with the supplied tips (and the ear wing does a great job of keeping the fit in place in active situations.) Medium sized (non-flanged) silicone tips are installed at factory, but 3 additional pairs of tips are supplied in packaging (XS, S, & L) to accommodate ear canal sizes. (Personally speaking, I’m a performing musician and audio engineer and I’ve used a number of of IEM-styled & IEM headphones for both casual listening and performances, and the fit and passive isolation on the TW5’s is as good as my custom molded 6-driver IEM’s. If I could hack the TW5’s to a wired connection on my Sennheiser G3 IEM receiver I’d do it in a heartbeat.) I don’t believe a triple-flanged tip would fit in the charging case, but they’re probably not necessary for many users. Hope that helps!
FearlessleaderSorry, I missed your first question about multipoint - the TW5’s do not support simultaneous connection to more than one device at a time. (Once connected to a device the Bluetooth “advertising” stops until disconnected, & at that point Bluetooth “advertising“ resumes as an available peripheral looking for a connection.)
hoodafukisaliceReally, unnecessarily rude. Lot of that going around in this site/forum. Tons of !!! and "I already know thats" . Some things are proprietary, Drew did his best to answer how he is able. Oh and they're $89. Just try them...jeesh.
