What happens if it doesn’t reach the purchased needed amount? Will they refund the Oder and that’s it. Or will the people (such as myself) who ordered it still get it?

I really don't understand an idea to put every photo/picture on deskmat exactly in the middle position. Even on your photos above the keyboard is in weird position in the bottom, to not cover this nice look. The deskmat would look much better with this switch moved to the left side, then definitely I would order it.

Hm.
Nice concept.
But I can't help thinking it'd be cooler if the switch had a wireframe design (e.g. GamersNexus Mod Mat) instead of glaring reflections blocking off most of the interior details.
