Overall quality of the keycaps are solid. But my set came with three ALT keycaps and only one CTRL keycap... which is odd... Ended up not using the set on my keyboard because of that.
These keys are great, despite them being OEM profile instead of Cherry as the listing says (Drop emailed that they keycaps were mislabeled). I love the rainbow gradient, they are darker than the listing shows, and they have good shine through. They are very smooth and are well made, I just wish that the keys were more scalloped, I find it hard to know what keys my fingers are on. There are little tabs on the F and J keys.
Good quality and vibrancy, but no "Cal" cap and a color defect ruined gradient
NOTE: I purchased the rainbow colorway and I use a 104+4-key, full size form factor US ANSI keyboard (specifically a Ducky Shine 6.) The criticisms I have are exclusive to the rainbow colorway and to specific keys, so the other colorways and keyboards with different form factor and/or layout might not be affected by them.
TL;DR version:
Overall, high quality caps, colors are gorgeous, shine through is clean and bright
No "Cal" cap in set; no preview image showing all 131 caps on store page
Two adjacent caps dyed the color the other should have been, ruining the beautiful rainbow gradient :(
I'm talking too much version:
I love the way these caps look and feel. The colors are vibrant, the shine through is bright and crisp, and they feel great both in performance and texture. I have no issue with the quality of the keycaps themselves–they're very good. My issues lie in the caps for the four keys above the numpad, which for my keyboard are a Calculator shortcut key (Cal) followed by the three volume control keys.
For starters, the set doesn't have a Cal cap, so I used an artisan cap as a stopgap for the picture below. Makes me wish there had been a preview picture displaying all 131 caps on the store page.
I think I'm most bummed about the volume caps. The mute and volume down caps appear to have gotten mixed up during dyeing, so the rainbow gradient is messed up unless I put the volume down cap on the mute key, and vise versa. I wish I could get replacements for those two caps, but I don't thing that's something DROP support/customer service can help me with. :(
