Poor reliability on LEDs, have to get used to keycaps
I wanted to like this (and loved some elements) but ultimately the build quality did it in for me. After < 6 months of use, now 3 keycaps have lost their LED. There has been no insult to the board. I agree with what the previous reviews said about awkwardness to learn due to the keycaps' shapes. The LED options are cool! Physical volume knob with mute is excellent and convenient +++media keys! Built in wrist rest is great for a clean desktop.

Great keyboard, shame about the keycaps.
So I'm going to try to keep this quick and tidy. The build quality is generally very good. The frame is sturdy plastic, the palm rest doesn't feel any more forgiving than the rest of the frame but is covered in another plastic with a slightly different texture. The volume knob is a delight of engineering. Its made of aluminium and can be depressed to mute, with a satisfying click. The switches are as expected, in my case cherry reds. The keycaps are of a high quality of construction but they are a terrible design. Unlike most keycaps, they do not taper to a wedge leaving 3mm between keys. They are packed tight together in the style of a laptop keyset. This means, theoretically, that there is a larger key face to hit. In my experience though I found myself floundering with missed strokes. I think it may be due to the way my hands were positioned on the rest and the anticipated size of the keys. In any event I bought a nice alternative keycap set and it has transformed the typing experience. The only other thing to note is that this keyboard has an inexplicable number of special keys dedicated to password protecting and turning of the keyboard itself. A nice feature of you are a paranoid security fascist, useless to everyone else. Wish there was a software solution for re-purposing these.
