Apparently the ridiculous fee for overnight shipping wasn't enough to appease the delivery gods and they have decided to instead send the package to somewhere in southern California and then send it here Monday. I'm trying to get Logistics to yell at them and have it delivered to my house or something instead so I can start the build and test. If that doesn't happen I'll have to wait until Monday.
This might add a day or two to the first batch, but everything else remains the same.
AlexPkCan I just drop by your house or office to pick up mine when it's ready?
I live in the Bay Area, it'd be really STUPID to send it to the warehouse in NJ and then spend some expensive shipping back to CA. It's happened before...
walnutbbAll the units are being shipped to the NJ warehouse, not to Alex. Even his sample is being shipped from NJ to San Francisco.
You think this is bad? In one drop I joined, the container landed in Los Angeles, made its way across the country by truck to NJ, and was then re-shipped to me in the Bay Area. As that drop was 2 months late at that point, it was painful to watch.
