I've been rotating between 3 pairs of these for the last 5 weeks with daily ~10mile hikes in very rough off-trail terrain in New Mexico and Colorado mountains and deserts. My new Salomon quest 4d gtx 2 boots are starting to fall apart, but these socks look mint. These socks definitely prevent hot spots and I'm completely blister free. Just bought 3 more pairs.

Are these socks good for running? Usually technical fabrics for running are synthetic. These ones are made of wool..

EliadAbsolutely great for running, but the lightweights are slightly better in warmer temps- these are best ever for long distances.

Oso_TXI've been wearing them for about 6 months now (not a super long time, but ... ) ... so far, so good ... unfortunately a washer or dryer has eaten one of mine(it went missing), so I'm down a pair. They're definitely better than some of the other brands I've tried for toe socks, but they're significantly more expensive than the ones that are starting to get threadbare. ... I need more of them and will be joining this drop.
