Garbage.
I don't mind cheap pens. I have a ton of them. I do mind pens that write worse than a disposable Pilot Varsity masquerading in this price range as something better.
I bought a yellow pen. I got a pen that's closer in color to the outside of a hard boiled egg yolk.
Hard starts from the box, skipping regardless of the type of ink in use. This pen, with a stub nib, works better as a dip pen than anything else. It's also quite uncomfortable to hold for long periods.
In almost every way, a let down.

I have quite a few Italix pens and love them all, with the exception of this one. The nib is far to wide, and I feel as if I’m writing with a paintbrush. I ordered a medium cursive nib, and, quite frankly, it’s anything but. It delivers far too much ink, and there is a visible bead of ink left behind. I contacted the company and received a derisive response from Mr. Ford. I can’t write with it and have chucked it into a drawer where it will likely never see the light of day again.

ravkesefHi - if it's any help I could modify your nib, as I have done many of mine, including two Italix pens. I reshape the end to whatever narrower width you prefer, then polish and polish until the nib writes smoothly without losing the contrast between the thick and thin strokes. I have modified lots of my pens this way and it is so satisfying to have just the right size Italic pen! Best wishes George Birrell (georgiebirrell@aol.com)

The brand is fantastic overall this pen is not. this pen I ordered with the medium cursive nip. This nib is one of my favorites, issue is the section insert (what the nib and feed are put into, not what your hand contacts) is made from brittle plastic. This is a huge problem because the cap clips on to it. So what ended up happening is the pen leaks from the section insert and that micro crack is large enough that is spills ink back into where the converter is and into the cap, oh and of write close to the nib then all over your hands. now for positing the pen it can be done but you literally have to slap the cap to get it to set on the metal channel at the end of the pen. overall sad state of affairs for Italix they make fantastic other pens but this cost saving pen is way to cheap, I don’t know the margins of profit but it feels like a rip off, they recently had a drop on the Italix Deacons Doodle which I think is there new cheaper pen. I picked one of those up to move my freshman notator nib over only to find it does not sit correctly or even fit in the Deacon’s doodle....

The cap cannot be posted; it falls right off.

Nice nib, but the cap which initially fit tight quickly became very loose resulting in the pen dropping from the cap and destroying the nib
