Made for mountaineering expeditions and search-and-rescue operations, The JETBeam SRA40 is nothing short of tough. After all, it’s made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and offers high-output lighting, 1.5-meter-impact resistance, and IPX-8 waterproof protection. But it’s also fit for domestic use, weighing only 8.64 ounces and measuring less than five inches.
Lighting Tech
The SRA40 features a CREE XM-L2 LED, cranking out 960 lumens at its highest output. Together with crystal coating technology and precision digital technology, the LED is capable of producing a 1,279-foot beam. The flashlight also offers medium and low settings, plus a strobe function, and can last up to 45 hours on its lowest output. It’s powered by four AA rechargeable batteries (or four 1.5-volt alkaline batteries) and is equipped with a red, green, and blue battery-life indicator. An AC adapter is also included.
